What a great little gem in down town Houston. It has a nice casual environment with a large tree covered outside patio area. Unfortunately, it was nearly 100 degrees so we ate inside. The interior is a fun mix it a little smaller but just as easy going. I just wish their AC worked a little better. The people that work there are very friendly and responsive. Not overly intrusive but clearly keeping an eye on the progress of the meal. I ordered a burger which was very juicy with a flavorful taste. The onion rings were awesome with a crispy and flaky coating. Some of the best I've had. We also ordered the fish tacos which came with a nice dill sauce. Again, very flavorful with a nice fresh and light feel. Perfect for a hot summer day. As was the frozen red sangria! I'm not a pickle lover but was told we had to order the fried pickles. I was expecting the worst but was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed them. Not an overly pickle flavor and the accompanying sauce was a nice addition. If you are looking for a fun, casual and not expensive place to eat. Definitely stop by!

I came here because someone of Reddit tried hundreds of Friday chicken sandwiches and rated this one to be the best. The classic fried chicken sandwich was definitely the best dish I ordered. My friend liked the char siu dish best. And then we also ordered the three little pigs fried rice which was pretty salty imo but I don't mind saltier foods. You definitely need a bottle of water near by. I don't think I'd come back again but would recommend others to try this place at least once. It is a little on the pricier side. It's also a bit hard to find since it's inside a cupcake shop!!

Some guy on Chicago food Reddit (r/chicagofood) tried 125 fried chicken sandwiches in the Chicago area and named 3 Little Pigs as his #1 pick. Obviously, I had to give it a shot! 3LP is a small kiosk located inside of a Molly's Cupcakes. They've got a flyer out front on the door, and if you order online like I did, just tell the employees and they'll grab the right order for you. As of 5/17/24, they offer 2 types of chicken sandwich - the salt and pepper, and the hot and spicy. I opted for the salt and pepper this time, but I'd love to try the hot and spicy next time. One order gets you the sandwich and a nice side of curly fries (superior fry IMO). The S&P is a huge piece of chicken, fried and crispy, with additional salt and pepper on top. It's crunchy and crispy without being hard, and contrasts well with the soft bun. In addition to the salt, there's a sweet sauce that I think is condensed milk based as well as pickled jalapeños - altogether a very satisfying bite. I would have preferred more pickled jalapeños or maybe regular pickles to cut the rich chicken a bit more, but still very, very good! Whenever I'm back in Chicago, I'd love to try the hot and spicy - that looks even better than the S&P.

Came back 2 years after their ghost kitchen and WOW! This place is the truth. Don't let the other reviews about the "location being hard to find" and some other irrelevant bs stop you from giving this place a try. I pride myself on being a "fried chicken guy" and the salt and pepper chicken sandwich did not disappoint, at all. Flavor was on point and so was the mayo sauce it came with - not greasy at all but crispy and cooked to perfection. The 3lp fried rice was packed with favor and you can tell it has that "wok hai" (iykyk) and there was no shortage of meat and other ingredients. Even though it was full of flavor it did not leave me thirsty which typically a lot of fried rices heavy on msg/salt will do. Can't wait for their new standalone location in Bridgeport which is opening in a few weeks. Do yourself a favor and try them, NOW!

I was really excited to try this place after hearing about their Uncle Roger approved fried rice! We got the salt and pepper chicken sandwich and the chicken and bbq pork combo box as well as some crab rangoon. The chicken sandwich was juicy and crispy I really enjoyed it but it does lacked a bit of flavor. The bbq pork was saucy and on the sweeter side. Overall the food reminded me of Americanized Chinese food. It was an interesting take, but I personally enjoyed the chicken sandwich more than the fried rice combo box. They don't have a store front yet and it was a ghost kitchen. You order online and pick up from Mollys cupcake.

Finally made it down here after patiently waiting for them to officially establish themselves inside Mollys Cupcakes. It's still essentially a take out place but you should be able to find a table and dine in once you pickup your order. I ordered their BBQ Pork Char Siu and their Fried Chicken Fried Rice. Both dishes tasted great. The chicken fried rice was very large and very filling. The fried rice had amazing flavor and it had plenty of fried chicken. The BBQ pork was really good as well. The pork was tender and the sauce was very sweet, but flavorful. Both items were fairly priced, I just wish the bbq pork came with some steamed white rice. They don't even offer some on their website for me to order which was a bummer. Overall I was very satisfied and wouldn't mind returning. My son really liked it and I wouldn't mind trying other items on their menu.

This was a really solid meal. We ordered char siu, vegetable spring rolls, bbq pork fried rice and combination fried rice. Our total with tax and tip was $60. I get why they used to sell out of the char siu, it has a ton of flavor and just melts in your mouth. The spring rolls were good, but the sauce that comes with them takes it to the next level. I'm not sure what's in it, but there's some heat and nice seasoning that pair well with the spring rolls as well as the fried rice. My husband likes his rice to be cooked on the firmer side, and he said that the combination fried rice was "amazing." I enjoyed my dish as well, and as others have mentioned, the portion size is very fair. I'm glad to have tried 3LP and think it's a great addition to the neighborhood.
